Hey everybody,
We are in Wichita. We made a last min. trip because CJ's grandma got sick and is not doing well. So.....we are here and I will update you and let you know how it goes. Please keep us all in your prayers. She is older, but I will say she is like Granny Shuler in some ways where she seems to have 9 lives.
CJ left yesterday and we decided today that me and the kids would come down. So we will be heading back either Saturday unless something happens we are staying for a while.
I will keep you all updated.
Love,
Karen

Winter? Is it?
So it's MO for sure around here lately. Here are some pictures of Jackson playing in the snow last weekend, then the next day, yes the next day it was almost 70. It's insane.
So basketball ended tonight and Shelby's team took 1st place for the year. Pretty soon it will be time for softball. I am not sure if Iam going to have Jackson play tball this year. He's just not that in to it. He has a little too much energy. He really wants to play football and soccer, so I think I may wait and do that. He wants to wait and it makes life so much easier when you don't have two kids in a sport at the same time. You can give more time to each kid. It works out good if I do it that way because their seasons don't overlap that much with the different sports. The only time I really would have two is when Shelby is doing Volleyball and Jackson has soccer. I just at least like to have family dinner a few nights a week. I prefer every night. It hasn't been that way with basketball season.
Shelby is a big sister again. Aaron's girlfriend had a baby girl yesterday. They named her Morgan Sue Kelly. She is such a cutie and looks just like Shelby did when she was a baby.
Last week would have been my wedding anniv and I was pretty down. So I was trying to think of something to keep myself occupied that day. I didn't feel like working and I REALLY didn't feel like sitting. So I made this pretty cool coupon organizer. If anyone is intersted I will pass on the info to you later. I'll take some pics and put it together. It's come in really handy!!
I hope you are all doing well. And will talk to you soon

Hello Everyone!!!
Hi everybody,
Since I blog like crazy for my business it only made since I should start a family blog! So let's get right on to it.
Life right now, let's see. Things are going pretty good. It is snowing like crazy and going to be 11 degrees then 70 later this week. That's MO for you. We were playing outside in short sleeves two days ago. Shelby is playing basketball right now and doing awesome. Her 1st game was Tuesday and she scored 10 of the 20 points in the game and she also made the winning shot in overtime. Pretty cool. They work them hard though. This is her 1st time playing in middle school vs playing in a city league. I am enjoying the inside sports time right now before softball and tball start and we are sweating to death:)
She has become quite the writer, she has won two awards this year in school for essays she has written. I have no idea where she got that from. She is growing into a beautiful young woman. She attended a youth retreat in Omaha, NE with church last weekend called Dare To Share. She loves the youth group there and I need to get more involved in the church. It's the church we went to off and on (we went back and forth between 2 different churches here in town) since we moved here in 2000. The problem is she picked the church were Steve's funeral was at. I purposely had the funeral at that church because of the size of the church that we would need and at the time we were going to the Christian Church (the other church) and thought I wouldn't have to go back to that building. But she has just been drawn to that place. I know God has some reason for that and I need to figure out a way to walk in to that building.
When she went to leave on the trip I walked in the basement as the vans pulled away so she wouldn't see me crying and oh my gosh this horrible feeling just took over me, being inside there!! But I'm going to have to just do it!
Jackson is doing good and since it's half way through the school year isn't enjoying school anymore. He doesn't hate it, but the excitement has worn away:). He is enjoying playing in the snow today. He is counting down the days until he gets out of school!
CJ is doing good. He is a trainer a Citibank now (yeah the best place to be working now). He has had endless training classes lately. Right now until May. So he has a much longer schedule when that's going on, but it's job security!! So we can't complain. So that's about it for now. I hope everyone is doing good!
